About Dr. Erin Schultz

Erin completed her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University, an osteopathic school in Mesa, Arizona in 2014. Prior to entering the field of medicine, Erin was in research, earning a PhD in Biology from New Mexico State University. Her dissertation research was focused in Neuroscience, specifically the ultrastructural and genomic analysis of the vestibular system in a model organism. Fueled by the desire to have a more immediate impact on community health she was drawn to the Physician Assistant career field and was initially inspired by a clinical rotation in Cardiology. Erin practiced as a Physician Assistant in Cardiology for approximately 9 years, working for Providence Spokane Cardiology; as well as, Presbyterian Heart Group and New Mexico Heart Institute in Albuquerque, NM, before returning to her passion for all things neuro and joining Spokane Spine Center in 2023.

Erin loves the outdoors. In her free time, she can be found hiking with her dog and spouse, paddle boarding, and gardening. When the weather forces her inside, she enjoys yoga and picking up her paint brushes for various art projects.
